Scott Giffin’s passion and devotion to healthcare resulted in an unexpected entry into the pharmaceutical industry, and has served as the foundation for a decades-long career.
While working as a registered nurse, Scott’s natural charm and can-do attitude caught the attention of a sales rep who suggested that Scott interview for an open position with his company. After five hours of interviews with six different managers, he was offered the job.
That was 23 years ago. Since that time, Scott has risen to the top of his field, earning recognitions such as the Circle of Excellence Award, the President’s Club Award, and the President’s Council Award. Over the course of his career, he has held various roles with pharmaceuticals, biotech, and medical device companies including sales consultant, national sales trainer, district sales manager, and his current role – Vice President of Sales and Business Development.
Today, Scott relies on his extensive background and unique perspective of the industry to create remarkable outcomes for our patients. He believes that the success of any business hinges on its ability to develop employees and provide excellent customer service. Under his leadership, Scott’s team provides our customers with adaptable, high-touch support to address everchanging patient needs.
Scott graduated from McNeese State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and the Science of Nursing. He served as a noncommissioned officer in the Gulf War for the Louisiana National Guard from 1988 to 1995. Scott has been employed by Professional Arts since 2012.
