Aimee Broussard’s enthusiasm comes from helping others and creating solutions where others see obstacles.
As a nurse by training and certification, Aimee Broussard, R.N., spent the first 10 years of her career as an obstetrical nurse at Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Lafayette, Louisiana. It was a life-changing experience helping patients through the labor and delivery process, but the most rewarding part was holding the newborns and providing unconditional care to the babies and their families.
Because of this extensive experience in women’s health, in 2005 it was a natural progression to Professional Arts where she began as a nurse advocate in women’s health. She performed hormone follow-up assessments and education and worked as part of the patient’s healthcare team to ensure the best clinical outcomes.
Since then, her role has evolved to include both clinical and operational responsibilities throughout the pharmacy.
Now, as Chief Clinical Officer, Aimee leverages her clinical background and extensive knowledge of patient care to bring a unique perspective to Professional Arts Pharmacy. She leads a team of pharmacists, technicians, and patient coordinators dedicated to processing and dispensing quality specialty medications promptly and professionally. Aimee has oversight over product management, procurement and Pharma account management, Patient Management Programs, and patient outcomes.
Her favorite core value of Professional Arts is “Make it Personal” which to her means connecting with people, developing relationships, and becoming part of their stories.
Aimee was born and raised in Lafayette and graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a bachelor’s degree in the Science of Nursing.
